My name is Carjanae and I’m 23 years old, born and raised in San Diego. I’m a singer/songwriter and a poet. People always ask me when did you realize singing was your passion, I will always comment with “before I was born” singing just flows through my body, excites me. It’s a journey that constantly gains strength and happiness from each performance. Being a singer, there’s many things you learn to endure and one is patient because when you love something so much you want it right then and there. I struggled with that multiple times in my career, but keep having the faith and drive and God will put out what you put in! For me all the patient was worth it, because I’ve become a stronger singer and person in general. I’ve recorded two EP'S “Five Roses” & "21". Created, planned and successfully had three concerts. One of the concerts theme was “Spreading the love” and that’s another goal I want to always do in my career, you never know how much a song can change someone’s life or day and to know that I’m capable of that brings so much joy. To be able to have a voice and encourage people to go or stay in school, never give up on your dreams and know you’re a beautiful human being are simple things, but the most simple gestures show much love when needed. I want to also encourage people to do the same, so it becomes a chain that can’t be broken!​
